James Allen

James Allen, owner of Auto Pro To Call is a Chapel Hill native. Born and raised just outside of Chapel Hill at a country store-service station, his automotive experience started early. James came to this location in 1984 as a manager when it was owned by a local chain of tire stores and worked himself into a position to purchase the business in 1991. Residing today in southwest Orange County with his wife of over 37 years; they have two sons, one a Major in the Air Force and the other manages Carfix, a second shop in Garner. James’ interests are automotive shop management and long distance motorcycle travel.

Neal Maier

Neal Maier has his roots deeply planted here in North Carolina, born and raised in Belmont, and moving here to Chapel Hill in 1994 where he earned his degree in Economics from UNC, (Go Heels!). Neal fell in love with this area and decided to call it his permanent home. After working for several years in the construction equipment rental business, his automotive career took flight right here at Auto Pro to Call. He has since earned his place among the top service advisors in the country. Neal is cool under fire, and

has a seemingly endless amount of patience. He is the “go to guy” when things don’t go as we plan. Neal has a deep commitment to this industry and his customers. It shows everyday while he takes the extra time, and puts the extra effort in all that he does.

Bobby Coates

Bobby Coates is a true blue North Carolina Southern Gentleman. Born and raised in Person County, Bobby married his high school sweet heart. Together they raise their teenage sons and enjoy the freedoms of camping and family time. Bobby has served in the United States Army in the Military Police Unit, and the Crime Investigation Unit. Bobby started his career in the automotive industry with a major tire chain. He quickly realized that he could not care for his customers at a corporate owned store in a fashion that was consistent with his levels of service. That landed Bobby here at Auto Pro to Call where he consistently sets the benchmarks for customer service and performance.
Bobby has self-trained himself as a master of customer service. Bobby's mindset of developing long-term relationships with his customers has made Bobby more long-term friends than customers. Bobby is a down-home favorite here at Auto Pro to Call.

Mitch Bann

Mitch, from San Diego, is one of our best service advisors. He started his career in the automotive industry in 1997. His constant drive to improve has made him one of the best service advisors in North Carolina. He has knowledge of the industry that is usually reserved for people twice his age.

He moved to North Carolina in 2004 to follow the love of his life, and now the mother of his two children; Logan and Hailey. During his time with our organization we have seen Mitch grow from a dirt bike riding wild child to a devoted family man.

When he is away from Auto Pro To Call he still manages to spend time riding his dirt bikes, but now he has his children to ride with him! The team at Auto Pro To Call all expects Logan to be the next great motocross superstar.

Jamie Wells

Jamie brings small town charm to Auto Pro To Call from Somerset, Ohio. Jamie began his career in the automotive industry pumping gas at his uncles’ full service gas station in the late 80’s and eventually moved to North Carolina in 1999. Jamie has worked in the automotive business all his life and even has some experience in the body shop business. He lives here with his wife Kelly and their chocolate lab Tootsie Roll and three children- Megan, Lucas and Madison.

When he is away from Auto Pro To Call, Jamie likes to play in his vegetable garden and especially enjoys a relaxing afternoon of freshwater fishing. He also enjoys traveling to the NC mountains and the NC coast. Feel free to ask him about his kids or Tootsie Roll’s latest adventure.

Chris Hughes

A true Chapel Hill native and Tarheel fan, Chris Hughes comes to us as an automotive service expert. Chris has been a "gearhead" and car nut since he was old enough to walk. Chris' technical experience stems from being an honored graduate of Nascar Technical Institute and a former FORD certified technician. Full of knowledge and logic, if you've got a question, he's got the answer.

Chris attended Chapel Hill-Carrboro City schools and he feels right at home here. Most of his free time is spent with his extended family and friends all still living in Chapel Hill. He goes to Uhwarrie National Forest and Tellico with his truck to go Rock Crawlin' and Four-Wheeling. Ch

ris and his friends try to go to the beach and the mountains on a regular basis. Chris also finds time to work on one of his many project vehicles, whether its metal fabrication or entire ground up custom car builds, he always keeps himself busy.

Scott Jones

Scott is a newcomer to the automotive industry, but no stranger to customer service. A native of small-town Bessemer City, NC, Scott graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1998. He decided to stay in the Triangle area and now resides in Mebane. Scott prides himself on being a family man and loves to spend as much time as he can with his wife and young son.

He enjoys watching most all sports as well as participating in a few such as golf and softball. Customer service has been Scott’s top priority for over 10 years and counting. He is easy to talk to and if he does not have the answer, he’ll be sure to find it for you.

Our first visit was for a screw in our tire - hadn't gone in far, so it was removed at no charge - no damage done - good deal. Second visit was for the Inspection. Quick, efficient and we have now decided that we will have Auto PTC do our 60,000 service, rather than the dealer, where we have been less than satisfied with their Customer Service and refusal to book appointments for any services. (Terrible ordeal with one car and two children.)
